Gerry Beausang

Gerry Beausang is currently a partner at Pinsent Masons. Prior to this, they were a partner at ByrneWallace LLP from August 2014 to January 2022, where they advised on public and private transactions, including initial public offerings, fundraisings, PE deals, MBOs, M&A, takeovers, and corporate reorganisations. Gerry was also a senior associate at Eversheds from September 2008 to June 2014, where they advised on a broad range of transactional work, including equity fundraisings, public takeovers, domestic and international M&A transactions, institutional investments, distressed debt-related restructurings and disposals, joint ventures, distributorship arrangements, and corporate reorganisations. Additionally, Beausang was an associate at Matheson from July 2003 to June 2008 and a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills from March 2000 to June 2003.

Gerry Beausang has a law degree from Trinity College Dublin and a diploma in legal practice from the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. Gerry also has a leaving certificate from Belvedere College. Gerry is certified by Redcliffe Training in Advanced Takeover Code.
