Adam Boxer, M.D., Ph.D., is the endowed professor of memory and aging in the department of neurology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He is also the director of the Neurosciences Clinical Research Unit and the Alzheimer’s Disease and Frontotemporal Degeneration Clinical Trials Program at UCSF. His research focuses on developing new treatments and biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. Adam received his medical and doctorate degrees through the medical scientist training program at New York University Medical Center, funded by the National Institutes of Health.
