Alex Yang has extensive experience in the field of machine learning and software engineering, with a strong educational background from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, holding a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science. Beginning as a student researcher at Texas Mathworks and the Research Science Institute, Alex progressed through various internships, including roles at GoDaddy, Cerebras Systems, Quora, and HEALTH[at]SCALE Technologies, where significant contributions included building a Tensorflow distributed training pipeline and developing personalized provider recommendation systems. Currently, Alex serves as a Machine Learning Engineer II in the Applied Science / Advanced Technology Group at Pinterest, demonstrating a commitment to advancing technology in machine learning and data science.
