Blake Carpenter

Blake Carpenter is an experienced Machine Vision Engineer currently working at OpenSpace since April 2021. Previously, Blake was involved in machine learning for automated semi trucks at Embark Technology from February 2017 to September 2020 and worked as a Computer Vision Engineer on automated vehicles at Varden Labs from October 2016 to February 2017. Blake's earlier experience includes positions on the Flickr Computer Vision Team and the Mail Monetization Team at Yahoo, as well as a software engineering role for the Mobile Growth Team at Stanford University. Blake holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Stanford University, and has engaged in various research and engineering roles, including significant teaching assistantship experience.
