Robbie Holmes is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and team management. As Director of Engineering at Pinterest from September 2021 to June 2023, Robbie led the Advertiser Experience organization, overseeing a team of approximately 65 engineers responsible for critical user-facing products, including Pinterest's Ads Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Engineering Manager at NextRoll, Inc., where Robbie managed a five-team organization within the Core engineering division, and holding various managerial roles at Rakuten AdRoll, where responsibilities included building and training engineering teams in Japan. Early in the career, Robbie worked as a software engineer at Flashbang Media and as a biomedical engineering intern at Gen Probe. Robbie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego.
