Benjamin Burns

Benjamin Burns is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the NEPA Technical Group Manager and NEPA Specialist at Pinyon Environmental, Inc. since February 2022. Previously, Benjamin worked at the Texas Department of Transportation from May 2019 to December 2021 as an Environmental Project Manager IV, where responsibilities included overseeing environmental clearance for roadway projects and managing contracts with environmental consultants. Earlier roles included various positions at Compliance Resources, Inc. focusing on environmental inspections, as well as academic research at Texas A&M University related to plant pathology. Benjamin's career began with several internships at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, gaining foundational experience in environmental compliance and data management. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Texas A&M University.
