Brad Stewart

Brad Stewart is the current Director at Pioneer Center for Human Services. Brad has had a long and successful career in the tech industry, most notably as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Cylex Inc. from December 2007 to February 2013.

During their time at Cylex, Brad executed a remarkable turnaround for the early stage, venture capital backed company. In spite of substantial hurdles, they built one of the first global companion diagnostics businesses which was commercialized in 18 countries with over 750,000 assays run.

Cylex manufactured and sold ImmuKnow - an in vitro diagnostic assay used to measure cellular immune function - which was utilized by clinicians to more effectively manage immunosuppression in organ transplant patients.

In order to accomplish this, Brad established a collaborative management culture, identified and implemented strategic initiatives for growth, and successfully exited the business through a highly competitive process. The Cylex sale was so successful that it was selected as a finalist for two M&A Deal of the Year awards.

Some of Brad's key accomplishments during their time at Cylex include: maximizing shareholder ROI; building a pioneer global companion diagnostics business; increasing patient survival rates; doubling revenues; and extending 18-month cash runway into 6 years of solid cash flow prior to sale of company.
