Christopher L. Washburn

Christopher Washburn was elected Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Pioneer Natural Resources in October 2022 after serving as interim Chief Accounting Officer from July through October 2022.

Prior to his current role, Washburn served as Controller from March 2018 to July 2022. After joining Pioneer in 2006, he served in various positions of increasing responsibility with the Accounting and Finance departments.

Washburn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accounting from West Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
