Prior experience includes a role as a Member of Partnership at Englefield Capital from February 2003 to November 2007, where investments in wind farms and energy sectors were pioneered. Prior to Englefield, Sam was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Private Equity from 1999 to 2003 and began the career as an Associate at Freeman Spogli & Co. from June 1995 to November 1997. Educational achievements include an MBA, Baker Scholar designation, from Harvard Business School and undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California.
