Matt Dufresne

Matt Dufresne is the current COO at Pioneer Valley Books. Prior to their current position, Matt was a Reading Recovery Teacher Leader at Amherst Public Schools from September 1995 to June 2009. Before their time at Amherst Public Schools, Matt served as the Literacy Coordinator at South Hadley Public Schools from December 1990 to August 2001. Matt has dedicated their career to helping others improve their literacy skills and has been instrumental in developing literacy programs that have positively impacted the lives of countless individuals.

-Matt Dufresne graduated with a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

-Matt then went on to earn a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Literacy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

They are on a team with Kristen Gernux - Customer Account Administration Supervisor, Bob Dufresne - CFO, and Chris Sullivan - VP, Business Administration. and Andy Klepacki - Director of Operations and Facilities reports to Matt Dufresne. Their manager is Michèle Dufresne, President.
