Michèle Dufresne

Michèle Dufresne is the current President at Pioneer Valley Books. Michèle has worked in education for their entire career. Michèle started as a reading recovery teacher leader at Amherst Public Schools in 1995 and stayed there until 2009 when they became a literacy coordinator at South Hadley Public Schools. Michèle held that position until 2001 when they left to take their current role at Pioneer Valley Books.

Michèle Dufresne has a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Michèle also has a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Literacy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
