Aodhan Hemeon - Mcmahon

Planner Land Use & Environment at Pioneer Valley Planning Commission

Aodhan Hemeon-McMahon currently serves as a Land Use and Environment Planner at the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, providing technical assistance and facilitating community engagement for 43 towns and cities. Previously, Aodhan held the position of City Planner for the City of Buda, TX, and worked as a Research Intern at HousingWorks Austin, where the development of an Affordability Calculator was undertaken. Aodhan contributed to research projects as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, aiding in various planning assessments and models. Additional experience includes roles as Grant Coordinator Assistant and Americorps Vista at the Homeless Prevention Council, as well as a Trail Crew Member for the Nevada Conservation Corps. Aodhan holds a dual master's degree in Public Affairs and Community & Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Hampshire College.
