Peter Kuusisto

Peter Kuusisto is a Senior Transit Planner I at the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, where responsibilities include managing interns and providing planning assistance to the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority on various transit-related matters since April 2019. Prior to this role, Peter served as an Outreach Coordinator for MassRIDES and Safe Routes to School at AECOM, fostering relationships with employers and community groups to enhance commuting options. With a background in health care outreach as an Enrollment Coordinator at the Community Health Center of Franklin County, Peter has also held various positions in campaign management and government relations, including significant roles in election management and volunteer coordination. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
