Brian Hay

Brian Hay has a rich and diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brian is currently working as the Head of Product & Engineering at Pioneera. Prior to this, they worked at Sydney Trains as a Consultant, where they played a crucial role in recognizing P3O issues and implementing a centralized PPM solution. Brian also performed methodology and change planning for the new operating model. Before that, Brian worked at Ausgrid as the Transformation EPMO Benefits Manager, where they delivered a benefits realization framework and provided advisory on setting up PMOs. Brian was also responsible for modeling project outcomes on corporate capability and processes. Brian served as the Chief Enterprise Architect at Meeco.Me, where they led the development of an award-winning personal data management platform. Brian was also the EPMO Benefits Realization Manager at NSW Telco Authority, where they delivered benefits components for infrastructure projects and conducted economic value analysis. Prior to that, Brian held the position of Head of Strategy & Commercials at Promim Australia, where they led the transformation program of operations. Brian started their career at Telstra, where they held various roles, including Education Segment Solutions Director/Program Manager, Principal Researcher & Program Manager, and Team Leader in the VoIP/Multimedia Call Centre. Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated expertise in project management, strategy development, and enterprise architecture.

Brian Hay completed a Double Degree in Electronics Engineering and Information Technology from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 1990 and 1994. Brian then pursued a Masters degree in Business and Technology at UNSW from 2001 to 2004.
