Richard Todaro has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Richard started their career in 1996 as the Head Coach at PGCC, where they achieved significant success and was inducted into the inaugural Hall of Fame class in 2018. In 2002, they transitioned to BAE Systems, where they served as a Senior System Engineer and Group Manager, specializing in supporting the DDG 51 Program Officer for new construction shipbuilding. Richard then joined Booz Allen Hamilton in 2010 as a Lead Associate and Senior System Engineer, providing support to the PEO IWS Acquisition Officer. Currently, Richard is working at Pioneering Evolution (PE) as a Senior System Engineer and Program/Project Manager, where they assist clients in various aspects such as direct client support, resource management, recruitment, and business development. Richard'sexpertise includes acquisition process, technical analyses, metric analyses, and performance management.
Richard Todaro has a diverse education history. Richard attended Largo High School from 1979 to 1982 and obtained their high school diploma with a focus on general studies, specifically in science and math. After completing high school, Richard began their higher education journey at Prince George's Community College from 1982 to 1984. During their time at the community college, they participated in a transfer program that prepared him for the College of Engineering at the University of Maryland. Richard then went on to attend the University of Maryland from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
In addition to their formal education, Richard Todaro has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they acquired the USSF "E" National Coaching License from MSYSA (Maryland State Youth Soccer Association). Four years later, in 2014, Richard obtained the USSF "D" National Coaching License, also from MSYSA.
Richard pursued further certifications in different areas as well. In 2020, they obtained a Maryland Real Estate Salesperson Licensee from MREC Group. Moreover, Richard obtained various general certificates and training relating to knowledge in SE Coursework and Project Management, specifically in project and portfolio management. These certificates were self-earned and were obtained in 1990, 2004, 2009, 2006, 2009, and 2014 respectively.
