Shannon Melvin

Shannon Melvin has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and responsibilities. Shannon started their career at Grace Community Church, Saint Cloud in 2000, where they served as a Church Planter and Elder until 2018. In 2014, they joined Osceola Technical College, initially working as the Dean of Academic Advancement and later as the Assistant Director until 2019. Since 2019, Shannon has been with Pioneers, where they have held the position of Director, Donor Services until 2023 and is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology.

Shannon Melvin has a diverse education history. Shannon pursued their Associate of Arts degree at Hillsborough Community College from 1990 to 1992. Following that, they attended the University of South Florida from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Education.

Seeking further specialization, Shannon enrolled at Reformed Theological Seminary, where they completed their Master of Arts degree in Bible/Biblical Studies from 2004 to 2007.

In their pursuit of professional growth and leadership skills, Shannon attended the American College of Education from 2011 to 2013. Here, they acquired their Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, focusing on General Studies.

Additionally, in August 2023, Shannon obtained a certification in "Introduction to ITSM" from Atlassian, further enhancing their skill set and knowledge in the IT service management field.
