J.c. Lopez

J.C. joined NEA in 2020 as a Principal on the healthcare team focusing on life sciences investments, particularly in private biopharma comapnies. Prior to NEA, J.C. led Global Search and Evaluation for Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, and Rare Diseases for Roche and Genentech. He currently serves as a Director or Observer on the Boards of 858 Therapeutics, Aviado Bio, Centrexion Therapeutics, Nexo Therapeutics, and Stablix. J.C. received a BS in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, an MD from The Perelman School of Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from The Wharton School where he was a Joseph Wharton Fellow.
