Xi Yang has a diverse work experience in the field of immunotherapy and protein engineering. Xi started in 2008 with roles at AnaSpec, where they produced custom and catalog antibodies and worked on developing immunoassay kits. They then moved on to Trinity Biosystems, where they focused on protein engineering and worked on improving protein stability and bioavailability. Xi also worked at Pfizer for nearly a decade, where they specialized in single plasma B-cell sorting and high-throughput sequencing to develop engineered monoclonal antibodies. Most recently, Xi joined Pionyr Immunotherapeutics as a Scientist II, leading the antibody generation effort for a project, optimizing the antibody discovery process, and delivering therapeutic candidates.
Xi Yang earned a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing the program from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, there is no information available regarding Xi Yang's education at Fudan University.
