Julia Berchem has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Julia began their career as a Community Relations Intern at the Charlotte Hornets in 2011. Julia then worked as a Sales/Marketing Manager at Taxi Taxi of Raleigh, where they achieved significant revenue growth and customer-driver acquisition.

After that, Julia joined Takeda as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, consistently exceeding sales goals and achieving top rankings nationwide. Julia played a crucial role in expanding the customer base and launching a successful weight loss medication.

Julia then transitioned to a role at Zillow Group as an Enterprise Account Executive, where they closed major contracts and maintained a strong client retention rate. Julia conducted market and business analysis, optimizing online marketing strategies to drive lead generation.

Following their tenure at Zillow Group, Julia joined Stride Consulting as a People Business Partner and later as a Talent Acquisition Partner. In these roles, they implemented policies and processes to facilitate a transition to remote-first work, improved employee engagement and retention, and achieved significant growth in hiring and scaling processes.

Julia's next position was at Teachable as a People Business Partner for the Technology US & LATAM division. Julia provided consultation and coaching on employee relations matters and led compensation planning initiatives to ensure pay equity and align with talent strategy.

Currently, Julia works at theEdge as an Executive Coach, utilizing their expertise to support individuals in their professional development.

In the future, Julia will be joining Pipedrive as a People and Culture Manager, where they will continue to contribute their skills and experience in nurturing a positive work culture.

Throughout their career, Julia has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented approach.

Julia Berchem completed their Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Julia attended the university from 2007 to 2011.
