Maurivan Luiz Padilha

Maurivan Luiz Padilha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Maurivan Luiz currently works at Pipefy as the Design Director for Visual Systems, a position they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Sr. Principal Designer at Pipefy from November 2019 to November 2021. From February 2018 to November 2019, Maurivan served as the Design Director for Leadership at Pipefy, where they led the design team for one of the fastest-growing cloud companies in Silicon Valley. Before joining Pipefy, Maurivan worked at GVT as the Design Lead from May 2012 to July 2015.

Maurivan also has experience in the design industry outside of their direct work roles. Maurivan Luiz was a member of the Design Leadership Forum at InVision from February 2018 onwards, where they contributed to advancing the practice of design leadership. In 2017, they served as a jury member for CSSDA.

Additionally, Maurivan's career includes entrepreneurial experience. In 2015, they were a Designer Entrepreneur as part of Batch 14 at 500 Startups, a business accelerator in San Francisco. Maurivan Luiz also worked as a Senior Designer at iG - Internet Group do Brasil Ltda from January 2010 to May 2012, a User Interface Engineer at Midiaweb Inteligência Interativa from February 2007 to January 2010, and a Communication and UI Designer at BLZ - Interactive from December 2004 to November 2006.

Maurivan Luiz Padilha's education history starts with their enrollment in the California Institute of the Arts in 2021, where they are currently pursuing a Graphic Design Specialization. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2018, they attended the Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina, from where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production with a focus on Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. In 2015, Maurivan completed the Batch 14 program at 500 Startups, although the field of study for this program is not specified. Moving further back, from 2005 to 2007, they attended UniCesumar, where they studied Superior em Sistemas para Internet. Additionally, in 2009, they received training in Strategic Interaction Design at the Faber-Ludens Institute for Interaction Design. Apart from their formal education, Maurivan obtained a certification in Unlocking Creativity from IDEO U in May 2020.
