James Rau

James Rau is an accomplished industrial engineer with significant experience across various roles in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. Currently, James serves as an Industrial Engineer II and previously held the position of Quality Engineer II at Piper Aircraft since April 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Senior Consultant: Process Engineer/Project Manager at Glemser from October 2018 to April 2022 and a role as an Industrial Engineer/Project Manager at Mack Trucks. Additionally, James gained practical skills through independent research at Lehigh University, culminating in the design and construction of a paramotor cage, and through an internship in product design at Peter Parts Electronics Inc, which provided exposure to quality management standards such as ISO 9000. James holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from Lehigh University.
