Joanna Brody

Joanna Brody has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Joanna started their career at UBS Investment Bank in 1992, where they held the position of Managing Director for over 16 years. During their time at UBS, they were a senior municipal securities executive and successfully navigated markets during times of extreme stress and dislocation. Joanna played a key role in developing and growing the variable rate business, leading their team to propel UBS to the #2 position in the market. Joanna was the sole underwriter for all variable rate transactions amounting to $112 billion. In 2009, they joined Piper Jaffray as a Managing Director.

Joanna Brody obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from The University of Vermont from 1988 to 1992. Joanna then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Management and Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, completing their studies from 1996 to 2000.
