Wesley Ker-Fox has worked in two different companies. Wesley started their career in 2009 as the Director of Digital Marketing at Naartjie Multimedia, where they worked until 2014. As Director of Digital Marketing, they managed advertising campaigns for various clients and contributed to the branding and positioning of the Columbus GA Convention and Visitors Bureau. In 2013, they joined Piper Networks as the VP Partnerships. Piper Networks is a rail engineering solutions provider and systems integrator specializing in transportation technologies. As VP Partnerships, Wesley played a crucial role in developing and maintaining partnerships and improving performance for train operators and train control suppliers.

Wesley Ker-Fox completed their undergraduate education at Columbus State University from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a specialization in Neuroscience. In 2006 and 2007, they pursued further studies at the University of Florida, focusing on Functional Genomics at McKnight Brain Institute as part of their thesis work.

Aside from their formal education, Wesley also obtained several certifications. In June 2019, they received the OSHA 10-Hour Construction with Voice-Authentication certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute. In July 2017, they obtained the MTA NYC Transit Track Safety Certification from the MTA - Metropolitan Transport Authority, NYC. More recently, in June 2020, they completed the COVID-19 Contact Tracing certification offered by The Johns Hopkins University.
