Yusuf Patel has a diverse work experience ranging from engineering to academic tutoring and financial aid. Yusuf is currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Piper Networks, where they oversee the design of electronics housing, enclosures, and bracketry. Yusuf also provides technical leadership to a team of engineers and conducts site surveys for mounting designs. Prior to this, Yusuf worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Accutek Packaging Equipment Company, Inc. In addition to their engineering roles, they have also worked as an Engineering Student at the University of California, San Diego and as an Academic Tutor at UC San Diego, where they provided academic assistance to students mainly in STEM subjects. Yusuf's earlier experience includes serving as a Financial Aid Technician at Santiago Canyon College, where they assisted students with financial aid applications, verified documents, and ensured compliance with privacy regulations.
Yusuf Patel pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering from 2019 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Prior to that, they attended Santiago Canyon College for a period of three years, from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they obtained three Associate's degrees, one in Physics, one in Mathematics, and one in Engineering Science.
