Christian Hess

Christian Hess is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the private equity sector. Currently serving as the European Head of Financial Sponsors at Piper Sandler since September 2021, Christian previously founded and managed Hess & Co Capital Advisors Limited, providing senior level consulting for private equity. With a background that includes leadership roles such as Private Equity Client Group Head at Investec Bank plc and significant tenure at UBS Investment Bank where Christian served as Head of Coverage for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions, this expertise has been honed since the start of an investment banking career in Germany in 1994. Christian holds a Diplom-Kaufmann from ESCP Business School, completed in 1994.
