Daniel Bakaleinik

Daniel Bakaleinik currently serves as the Director of Equities Electronic Trading Connectivity and the Director of Institutional Equity Trading at Piper Sandler, a position held since January 2020. Prior to this, Daniel was Vice President of Institutional Equity Trading at Piper Jaffray from August 2019 to January 2020. Daniel's extensive experience in trading includes roles at Weeden & Co. spanning nearly two decades, where notable positions included Director of the Program Trading Desk and Senior Trading Associate. Earlier career stages include a Systems Administrator role at John Bryce and military service as a Staff Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Connecticut, an Associate of Science in Information Systems & Cyber Security from CT State Norwalk, and multiple certifications in Computer Networks and Operating Systems from John Bryce.
