David McCallion

David McCallion is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Financial Institution Sales and Balance Sheet Management at Piper Sandler since January 2020. In this role, David provides coverage for financial institutions with a focus on capital markets advisory, investment strategy, balance sheet management, and Mergers & Acquisitions execution. Prior to Piper Sandler, David held the position of Vice President of Fixed Income Sales and Balance Sheet Strategy at Sandler O'Neill & Partners, L.P. from November 2013 to January 2020. David also served as a Valuation Analyst and Head of Asia Operations at Marathon Asset Management, where the focus was on opportunistic investing across various markets. David began the finance career as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Corporate Finance & Investments from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University.
