Dustin Avey

Dustin Avey is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and capital markets. Currently serving as Managing Director at Piper Sandler since January 2020, Avey previously held the same title at Piper Jaffray & Co. from February 2014 to January 2020. Avey's tenure at Piper Jaffray began in January 2007 as a Senior Vice President, where roles evolved to include Vice President until February 2014. Prior experience includes the position of Vice President at Hutchinson, Shockey, Erley & Co. from April 2002 to January 2007 and Associate at Strong Capital Management from January 2001 to April 2002. Avey earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Iowa State University between 1996 and 2000.
