Jason Bruns

Jason Bruns is a seasoned software engineer and technology leader with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as AVP and Senior Software Engineer at Piper Sandler since May 2013, Bruns operates as the Salesforce lead architect and developer, supporting 250 users across two organizations, primarily within the fixed income and public finance business lines. Prior to this role, Bruns was a Senior Software Engineer at Wireless Ronin Technologies, where full-stack development of an online content management system for a pioneering digital signage system was undertaken. Earlier experience includes leading database development and modeling R&D at Conceptual MindWorks, Inc., focused on the impact of non-lethal weapons at the Air Force Research Lab, and serving as a Scientist in pharmaceutical R&D and method development at DPT Laboratories. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Software Engineering from St. Mary's University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, complemented by Salesforce training completed between 2017 and 2019.
