Apostolis Markoutsis

Apostolis Markoutsis, FCCA, CIA, currently serves as General Manager at Piraeus Bank, overseeing Financial Policies & Advisory since June 2019. Prior to this, Apostolis held the position of Senior Director in Quality Assurance and Operational Risk & Control Center with Group IFRS Accounting Policies. From October 2015 to June 2019, Apostolis worked as a Financial Advisor in the Finance Division at the National Bank of Greece, and earlier, from July 2004 to September 2015, served as Audit Principal at Deloitte. Apostolis holds a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London and has passed Level II of the CFA Program. Additionally, Apostolis completed the SOEL/ACCA Joint Examination Scheme and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management of Information Systems from Athens University of Economics and Business.
