George Katsouranis

George Katsouranis has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in different organizations. George started their career in 1996 as an HR Officer at Xiosbank S.A. and later joined Piraeus Bank, where they held several positions including Training Officer, Assistant Training Manager, Learning Manager, Senior Manager of Learning & Development, and Head of Training & Development. George also worked as the Senior Director of Group Organizational Learning at Piraeus Bank. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the General Manager and Managing Director at Excelixi SA, Center of Sustainable Entrepreneurship, where they were responsible for business development, operational efficiency, budget monitoring, and product design. Currently, they are working at Piraeus Bank as the General Manager - Deputy Group CHRO. George is also a Board Member at PD Services and was previously a Board Member at GAIA EPICHEIREIN S.A. Overall, George Katsouranis has a strong background in human resources, talent acquisition, training, development, and business management.

George Katsouranis holds an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Alba Graduate Business School, which they obtained from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned a BA degree in International & European Studies from IST College between 1990 and 1993. George completed their high school education at 2nd Zografou High School, receiving the Apolytirio degree in 1989.
