Makis Bikas has extensive work experience in investment banking. MAKIS started their career in 1996 as an Analyst Internship at Alpha Finance Investment Services S.A., and later interned at the same company in 1999. In 2000, they joined Alpha Bank as a Senior Analyst in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. In 2005, they moved to Piraeus Bank, where they held the position of Senior Director in Investment Banking.
Makis Bikas earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business from 1992-1997. MAKIS then obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from the University of Leicester in 1999-2000. Makis also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in negotiation skills from Scotwork Negotiating Skills in March 2017 and in management from Harvard Business Publishing in December 2010.
