Joyjit Basu

Joyjit Basu has over a decade of experience in packaging development and procurement, currently serving as Chief Manager at Piramal Enterprises Limited since July 2013, focusing on strategic purchasing and vendor development. Prior to this role, Joyjit was Senior Procurement Manager at The Himalaya Drug Company, where initiatives such as the launch of blow-moulded tubes for Neem Facewash significantly impacted the industry. Joyjit also held positions at Emami Ltd as Manager of Packaging and Sourcing, where the Packaging Department for the International Marketing Division was established, and at Reliance Retail as Deputy Manager in Packaging Development and Sourcing, contributing to the successful launch of private labels across over 700 stores.
