Nitin Thorat has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Nitin is currently the Chief Manager - Quality eCompliance at Piramal Pharma Solutions, where they lead the Quality eCompliance function and drives automation for quality processes. Prior to that, they worked at SUN PHARMA as a Global Quality Auditor - Computer System & IT Controls, where they audited all Sun sites for IT Quality and Compliance. Nitin also has experience as a Project Manager - Healthcare & Life Sciences at Syntel, a Validation Manager at Ranbaxy, and a Sr. Scientist at Sandoz Private Limited. Additionally, they worked as a QC Executive at Cipla, where they were responsible for scheduling preventive maintenance and calibration of QC instruments and executing qualification activities. Overall, Nitin has a strong background in quality assurance, compliance, and computer system validation in the pharmaceutical industry.

Nitin Thorat pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Pharma Management from ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Sikkim, from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from MSBTE Mumbai in 2012. In 2003, Nitin obtained an MSc. degree in Biochemistry from Shivaji University, Maharashtra.
