James Gannaban has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. James is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications at Pirata Group, where they drive market growth for one of Hong Kong's most visited F&B groups. Prior to that, they worked at The ENTERTAINER as a Senior Marketing Manager - Asia and Marketing Manager - Hong Kong. During their time at The ENTERTAINER, they achieved significant growth in paying members, managed product distribution, developed multi-channel campaigns, and mentored a team of marketers. Before that, they worked at South China Morning Post SCMP as a Marketing & PR Manager - HK Magazine Media, where they launched various successful projects such as the Barfly nightlife app and HK Magazine's tablet edition. James also worked as an F&B Marketing & PR Manager at GR8 Leisure Concept Limited and as a Principal Vocalist on the Grand Opening Team at Hong Kong Disneyland.
James Gannaban attended Ateneo de Manila University from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre.
