Christophe Lagathu

Christophe Lagathu is an experienced executive in the naval construction and repair industry, currently serving as Directeur général at PIRIOU since April 2022, and as Directeur Région Océan Indien et Antilles, focusing on the development of naval construction and repair activities in the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean. Previously, Christophe held various leadership roles, including Directeur Général Adjoint SERVICES and Directeur Général at PIRIOU NAVAL SERVICES, where responsibilities included overseeing ship repair projects. With a strong background in managing newbuilding contracts and international ship repair activities, Christophe has directed operations at multiple companies within the PIRIOU Group, including serving as Directeur des Affaires and leading the Chantiers PIRIOU. Prior experience includes a role as Directeur Général at GENAVIR, complemented by technical positions at Setaf Saget and SOBRENA. Christophe holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Centrale Nantes and a Licentiate degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Ecole Technique Normale.
