David Turner is the current Vice President of Business Development at Pirouette Software Inc. Prior to their current position, David was the Chief Technical Officer at PIROUETTE SOFTWARE CONSULTING where they created a marketing plan and dissemination model for HFA & IDEO’s Foundations of Innovation course. This course resulted in new funding and a January 2011 pilot launch.
Before their time at PIROUETTE SOFTWARE CONSULTING, David was a Co-Founder at Waitbot, a smart city technology company dedicated to saving people time and making businesses and governments more efficient. Waitbot’s technology is currently used to analyze public transportation, restaurants, emergency rooms, barbershops, government services, security checkpoints, retail stores, and hotels.
In addition to their professional experience, David has also completed fellowships with Education Pioneers and Domestic Corps. David holds a degree from General Assembly where they also served as an instructor for several part-time classes including Data Science and Front-end Web Development.
David Turner has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business with a focus in Social Entrepreneurship. David also has a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School with a focus in Public Policy Analysis. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Their manager is Ouri Wolfson, President & Chief Scientist. They are on a team with Jane Lin - Chief Engineer, Channah Naiman - CTO.
