Mark Bolton has extensive experience in software development and system administration, with a focus on Unix and Perl. Mark has worked at various companies, starting with NatWest Stockbrokers in 1989, where they managed the Unix support team and was involved in strategic development. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Senior Unix Systems Administrator at Vodafone. At IG Index from 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Unix System Administrator, developing automation programs using Perl and Shell scripts. Mark then joined UBS in 2006 as a Senior Unix/Perl Developer, where they developed and maintained a Perl-based application for collecting and analyzing data. Mark also worked at Pirum Systems Ltd as a Senior Developer, responsible for developing an SFTR reporting product and supporting the back-end system. Mark Bolton earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Computer Science, specializing in Distributed Systems, from the University of Greenwich.
