Alex Ayers

Alex Ayers is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and cloud technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Pison since March 2024, Alex focuses on writing microservices in Dart on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and designing APIs using gRPC, while also mentoring less experienced engineers. Prior to this role, Alex held various positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals, progressing from Senior Software Engineer to Associate Director of Engineering in Digital Health, where responsibilities included managing a team that developed the first FDA-approved drug/device combination product. Experience also includes significant contributions at Breaktime Media, lifeIMAGE, Merge Healthcare, and Meditech, with a strong emphasis on application development, cloud solutions, project management, and team leadership. Alex holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Bridgewater State University.
