Charles Bonam has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Charles has held various roles in several automotive companies. Currently, Mr. Bonam is the Director of Operations at Piston Automotive, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President - Seatbelt Operations at Joyson Safety Systems from November 2022 to August 2023. From July 2020 to October 2022, they worked as the Director of Program Management at Grammer AG. Charles has also had a long tenure at Autoliv, where they held multiple positions, including Senior Engineering Manager, Mexico Tech Center Sr Manager, Regional Industrial Engineering/Launch/Machine Build Site Manager, and Engineering Manager/Launch Manager. Charles began their career at Key Safety Systems as a Co-op Engineer and progressively moved up to become an R&D Product Engineer and an FCA Seatbelt Product Engineer.
Charles Bonam attended Kettering University from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
