Cristina Martinez Pinto

Cristina Martinez Pinto is the Founder and CEO of PIT Policy Lab, focused on advancing public interest technology and agile policymaking since July 2020. Prior to this role, Cristina served as Program Lead at The Center for Binational Institutions and as a Senior Research Scientist at the Human Computer Interaction Lab at West Virginia University, where collaboration across sectors was emphasized. As Director of the AI for Good Lab at C Minds, contributions included coauthoring key reports on AI ethics and social good in Latin America. Experience also includes consulting for the World Bank on digital economy development, conducting research at Georgetown University on civic technology, and various leadership roles within the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Cristina holds a Master's in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's in International Affairs from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
