Patrick Ross

Patrick Ross is currently the VP of Finance at PitchBook. Prior to this, they were the Director of Finance at Zonar Systems from April 2015 to July 2017. Before that, they worked at EY in Transaction Advisory Services from January 2007 to April 2015.

Patrick has over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting. Patrick has a broad range of industry experience with a focus on technology. Patrick has advised on dozens of transactions with valuations ranging from $10 million to $8.5 billion.

At Zonar, Patrick was responsible for leading the finance and accounting team of 15. Patrick drove improvements like condensing the financial statement close timeline and simplifying the commission structure. Patrick also managed the finance specific focus of a broad sell-side auction process involving more than 40 potential strategic and financial buyers. The extensive diligence process resulted in the majority sale of the enterprise at more than 40% premium over prior minority investment valuation.

At EY, Patrick provided buy and sell side financial due diligence on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for corporate and private equity clients. Patrick assisted in the integration of telecommunications acquisition into a global technology company.

Patrick Ross is a highly experienced finance professional with a proven track record of success in both corporate and private equity settings.

Ross has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Western Washington University and a certification from the AICPA in Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Patrick is also certified by the Washington State Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
