Peter Haas

Peter Haas is an experienced hydrogeologist with a strong background in managing projects and teams across various organizations in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Principal Hydrogeologist and Office Manager at Piteau Associates Engineering, a Tetra Tech Company, since March 2022, Peter has held multiple roles within the same company since December 2016. Prior to Piteau Associates, Peter worked as a Senior Hydrogeologist and Project Manager at Schlumberger from October 2011 to August 2016, and as a Hydrogeologist from October 2007 to December 2010, specializing in dewatering and groundwater modeling for international mining clients. Earlier experience includes working as a Hydrogeologist at Water Management Consultants and operating a soils lab at The University of Arizona. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on Hydrology from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry from Northern Arizona University.
