Andrew Shewmaker

Andrew Shewmaker possesses extensive experience in project management and engineering within the IT and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the IT Process & Projects Manager at Pitkin County since June 2017, Andrew oversees a team of Business Process Analysts, facilitating software implementation and IT services. Previous roles include Application Developer and Project Engineer at OnCore Manufacturing Services, where Andrew contributed to a major facility expansion, and Research Project Manager at JILA, collaborating with Nobel Laureate Dr. Eric Cornell on innovative energy projects. Andrew's early career involved internships with Kiewit, providing insights into civil engineering practices. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Biomedical emphasis from the University of Colorado Boulder.
