Mirthe Vernijns

Mirthe Vernijns is an OPEX Engineer at Unilin since April 2024, concurrently serving as a dual lecturer at PITO Stabroek since September 2021, where instruction involves laboratory measurement and control technology as well as theory and laboratory mechanics. Previous experience includes Assistant Maintenance Manager for Acrylic Acid & Acrylates at BASF from March 2020 to April 2024 and an internship focused on energy analysis at Procter & Gamble. Mirthe also participated in mechanical engineering projects at BASF during an internship in July 2018. Mirthe holds a Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Ghent University, completed between 2017 and 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Ghent University from 2014 to 2018. Further educational pursuits include an Educatieve Master in Engineering & Technologie at Ghent University, expected to be completed from February 2025 to June 2026.
