Karen Sabo

Karen Sabo has extensive experience in healthcare management and education, currently serving as the Curriculum Coordinator for Healthcare Management Technology at Pitt Community College since January 2005. In this role, responsibilities include course development, instruction, advising, and marketing of the program. Prior to this position, Karen worked as the Patient Access Services Manager at ECU School of Medicine Ob-Gyn from August 2000 to November 2004, overseeing front desk operations across two clinical sites. Earlier experience includes serving as the Lifeline Coordinator at Vidant Medical Center, where management of installation, marketing, and billing services was primary. Karen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Government Administration and Legal Studies from Christopher Newport University and an Associate of Science in Healthcare Management Technology from Pitt Community College.
