Steve Lassiter

Steve Lassiter is the current Assistant Superintendent of Educational Programs & Services at PITT COUNTY SCHOOLS. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources & Auxiliary Services at Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools from June 2016 to August 2018. Steve has also served as a Principal at Martin County Schools from July 2012 to July 2013 and at Pitt County Schools from July 2013 to June 2016. Before becoming a Principal, they were an Assistant Principal at Pitt County Schools from July 2010 to July 2012.

Steve Lassiter holds a Doctor of Education from North Carolina State University, a Master's Degree in School Administration from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University.

They are on a team with Matt Johnson - Assistant Superintendent of Operations, Kristi Rhone - Assistant Superintendent of HR, and Debra Baggett - Chief Financial Officer. Steve Lassiter reports to Ethan Lenker, Superintendent.
