J. Patrick McGill is a dedicated music educator and performer with extensive experience in choral music and vocal performance. Currently serving as the Choir Director and Music Teacher at Washington School District since August 2019, McGill teaches various choir levels and music courses. As the Chair of the Opera Executive Committee for the American Guild of Musical Artists in Pittsburgh, McGill manages relations with Pittsburgh Opera. A Bass Soloist at First Presbyterian Church since October 2014, McGill contributes to Sunday services and supports the Music Director. In addition, McGill sings as a B Level Chorister with Pittsburgh Opera, participating in numerous main stage productions. Previous roles include Beer Sommelier at Rt. 19 Beer & Cigar, Graduate Assistant at Duquesne University, and Band Teacher in the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. J. Patrick McGill holds a Master of Music in Music Performance Voice from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education/Voice from Slippery Rock University.
