Mark Trawka has extensive experience in the field of opera, currently serving as the Chorus Master and Director of Musical Studies at Pittsburgh Opera since 2003. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Coach and Pianist at Glimmerglass Opera from 1999 to 2003 and contributed as a Coach, Accompanist, and Assistant Chorus Master at Portland Opera from 1993 to 2003. Additional experience includes positions at The Dallas Opera and Chautauqua Opera, where Mark served as a Coach and Accompanist from 1996 to 2001 and as a Coach and Pianist from 1992 to 1998, respectively. Mark Trawka holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Southern California.
