Steven Grair is an experienced professional in the field of production management and technical theatre, currently serving as the Director of Production at Pittsburgh Opera since August 2020. Prior to this role, Steven held similar positions as Director of Production at Sarasota Opera Association, Inc. from August 2016 to August 2020, and as Technical Director at Texas State University from August 2014 to August 2016. Steven's extensive background includes roles as Production Manager at OPERA San Antonio (January 2014 - August 2016), Opera Saratoga (May 2015 - July 2016), and Opera Omaha (November 2012 - August 2014), as well as Technical Director at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (July 2011 - November 2012). Steven earned a BFA in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, completing the degree from 1994 to 1999.
